They must be a bit slow to be honest ...my one year old grandson has a little Fisher Price toy phone and he dials and has pretend conversations all sorts of folks.

It's the same reason why they can't tell the time using an analogue clock. My great nephews and nieces can never say what the time is using the clock on my old mum's mantlepiece.

My husband works with a bunch of young kids and they can’t tell time by using an analogue clock. It’s lost on them.
