How lonely, depressed and sad many comedians seem to be such as Spike Milligan, Michael Barrymore, Robin Williams, Peter Sellers, Stephen Fry, Frankie Howard,Catherine Tate, Caroline Ahern and Freddie Starr.

RIP Freddie and thanks for making me laugh such a lot over the years.
That's true Lion Queen, it's like when the laughing stops they see no reason to carry on....so sad!

The only person I know who put Muhammad Ali on his back without laying a punch on him.

Classic Freddie Starr.

Re: Freddie Starr found dead.

There was this one though, another funny one!

Definitely he was a very funny chap and I'm sure he will be remembered for giving many of us a lot of laughs. Plus more memories if you have some time to spare and wish to watch this and have a laugh. Freddie Starr at his best taking off a lot of the stars of the day:

Re: Freddie Starr found dead.

I also found this one which is more relevant, it's an edit of Freddie Starr's life for the Variety Club. The comments on the You Tube link below are possibly similar to what many who like his humour may be thinking after the sad news of his death:

Re: Freddie Starr found dead.

I find this news so sad, he wasn’t any age really.

I thought he was extremely funny and he made me cry with laughter.
He also, had a lovely singing voice, especially when he sang like Elvis Presley.

Rest In Peace, Freddie. I thought you were comedy genius.
