Goods but not Services.
Zero Tariffs on goods, which are the biggest EU Export to the UK, but not on Services, our biggest Export to the EU.
Boris will claim a huge win on Fisheries and we will be taking back control of them but the kicker is nothing will change.
I dont see that Swimmy, lf we take controll of fisheries as you say?
Then surely we wil do what the eu did and incrementally transfer
the advantage back to uk again, so things will change on that front??
On goods we dont have to do anything as they will change by
themselves as we buy more and more from else where and food
prices are likely to be noticeably cheaper as we will not charge
tariffs as we have to at the moment if goods come from a third
country?
On the services, they must take their chances bt as the vast majority
of their income is derived from outside eu they should not be too
discomfited by any disruption??
The fact that uk is able to pay for our considerable trade deficit with
EU plus the billions in membership fees is proof of where our
services industry garners its income??
Donkeyman! 👍🤔🤔👍
