Took a chicken breast from freezer early this morning. Will chop and cook with onion, mushrooms and Iceland 'Oriental veg' and pour over 'Uncle Ben's' Sweet & Sour sauce.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

I have chicken too. Bought a cooked (plain) one in Asda this morning for £2. What a bargain, ey?

I have just parboiled some potatoes, leeks and carrots, and bunged it all in a frying pan with some frozen stir fry mix, and added some chicken. When cooked, will add some BBQ sauce.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

I have found an awesome replacement for popcorn ...

home made oatcake

All I did was to put a load of Tesco everyday value oats in a big bowl with a little water, then mashed it together in to a thick dough. After that I stuffed it in a deep small loaf foil bake thing and cooked it for a while. Slices in thick pieces just like a cake. Perfect snack food for runners and no busted teef .
