Re: What book are you reading now?
Just finished "All the light we cannot see" by Anthony Doerr.
A wonderful book, about a locksmith's blind daughter living first in Paris, then after the German invasion fleeing to St Malo, a young, gifted German orphan boy, who gains a place at a prestigious Nazi academy, a precious but possibly cursed jewel, and the wonder and mystery of radio transmissions, uniting people living worlds apart.
The characters are beautifully crafted, even the minor ones. Thought provoking and moving,
