iPhone battery wont hold charge

Mr Ms iPhone doesn’t seem to be holding a charge anymore.
Is this Planned obsolescence?

Re: iPhone battery wont hold charge

Most cell phones have a battery life of about 5 years or so, then......
they no longer hold a charge.

I don't know about Crapple, but I still have a Nexus (Google) and have had it for years ever since they came out.

The battery didn't exactly fail, but didn't hold its charge for as long after a few years, so I managed to obtain a replacement battery online and replaced the old one myself.
It doesn't have a replaceable battery, so I bought a small set of tools to open it up, which was surprisingly easy. It still works.

As I say, I don't know about Crapple as I've never had one. Rather than buying a new one or trying to replace the battery yourself, I think you might be able to get a Crapple outlet to replace the battery. Cheaper than buying a new one anyway.
