Walk away..

Why do we give ourselves grief?

The words on this poster really struck a cord with me - senseless drama - spiteful criticisms - I've suffered it all. I would have been better off walking away. but I didn't - not for a long time.

Thank goodness I finally did...

Re: Walk away..

I think many of us still can't walk away quietly but need to fight back but it depends who and what you're dealing with and if it's worth it

Don't know who is responsible for the following quote

Knowing when to walk away is 'wisdom'
Being able to is 'courage'
Walking away with your head held high is 'dignity'

Re: Walk away..

I have just realised that is a quote from a certain social network site which allows groups to form and launch hate campaigns against people .
Even when the people concerned complained the hate campaigns were allowed to continue.
I think that is rather an ironic quote considering that for some people walking away isn't really an option because they feel they have no future and nowhere to walk to like a young girl near here whose last walk was to a railway line

Friends - happy memories - When you've belonged somewhere for a long time it's a wrench to walk away..
