Re: Paris Attacks

The UK seems to be softer on Muslims than France. I was surprised when the European court of human rights upheld France’s burqa ban, a totally sensible decision. And British employers are encouraged to set aside prayer areas for Muslim employees to pray but in France, there are no such allowances made, they either pray at home or at the mosque – not at work.

I’m wondering if these issues could be part of the reason that France is singled out in retaliation?

Re: Paris Attacks

Hi

Please spare a thought also for the GIGN and other Enforcement Officers who will be putting their lives at risk to control this and witnessing things that will give them nightmares.

I will also be thinking of the families of the innocent victims and hoping that at last our political leaders at last wake up.

Now reporting ...

Two suicide bombers.
The military are moving into Paris.
France has declared a state of emergency and has closed its borders.

No one has claimed responsibility ..
But so soon after the Russian tourist plane it is .... horrifying.
There is no other word.

I think it may be related to the recent obliterating of that lowlife Jihadi John.

Re: Paris Attacks

Two gunmen shot dead after they shot several people with machine guns for 15 minutes stopping only to reload. Then they threw grenades into the crowds in concert hall! It's horrific!

Re: Paris Attacks

It’s about time our troops were manning the ports and airports so the gun toting cops can be on the streets where they belong. The french make much more use of their troops internally than we do.

Troops should be at our ports tonight at least…but I bet they’re not.

Re: Paris Attacks

It´s absolutely horrendous and where will the next attack be? It was said in the live reports tonight that they know terrorists are coming into Europe with the masses of immigrants. It can only be hoped that after this dreadful attack on Paris that something drastic is done about this invasion of immigrants into Europe.
