Man cuts down tree in Poole garden

Why is the news making so much of the home-owner in Poole who has cut down a couple of trees to increase the light into his home and improve the view from the house. As a result, his property's value as increased by £64K???

Alan Titchmarsh came to the Isle of Wight some years ago and bought a property. There were some trees in his garden ****which all had preservation orders**** blocking the view of the sea...........so he cut them down and paid the fine!
Don't think it made the news.

Re: Man cuts down tree in Poole garden

From what I can make out, one of the trees was in someone else's garden but as you say, it depends on who you are.
