Re: Good Morning Tuesday

Good morning all another damp day here.

I need to do some food shopping today and go to the Post Office for some stamps.

Enjoy your day...

Meg, I hope you’ll feel better soon, these viruses can be so debilitating.

Re: Good Morning Tuesday

Good morning - Supermarket day today and probably a trip to see my brother this afternoon to help with sorting his fish pond out.

Have a good day.

Re: Good Morning Tuesday

Good morning everyone, hope all are well. I have some work to do this morning as although retired, I do a little consultancy work now and again. Then my husband and I are going out for lunch.

Have a good day, whatever you are up to

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all.

It’s light outside, is it morning already?

Dry here, only just though. Forecast is for a cloudy morning but improving slowly with some bright or sunny spells developing. Isolated showers are likely for a time this afternoon. Maximum temperature 16ºC.

Nothing planned, I have to pick up a repeat prescription from the pharmacy and that’s about all today.

Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you may be doing.

Re: Good Morning Tuesday

Good Morning From Foxy's painful World......

It was a surprise to see that it had stopped raining as I jogged off for my Tuesday Five, but it was still dark so I couldn't see if rain was likely so I put my thin waterproof top on anyway. Going felt good but after the heavy overnight rain the rough tracks were either muddy or small ponds...

I felt good for most of the way, then as I jogged down the lane on my last half mile I kicked a stone and went sprawling onto the wet and muddy surface...
I fell heavily on my right arm and knee and had to lay a few moments to gather my senses...

I raised to my feet and still feeling a bit wobbly I started to jog, with blood running down my arm and a very stiff knee I managed to continue my jog home...
The hot shower managed to highlight the damaged areas that I hadn't noticed before, but at least there's nothing broken......

Despite my injuries I must prepare my motor for the MOT tomorrow, because the cost of that might hurt me more than the fall.....

Re: Good Morning Tuesday

That sounds most unpleasant, and I know from experience that it will hurt more before it stops hurting. It might be worth taking a couple of pain killers just to keep yourself more comfortable. I hope your car passes it's MoT. Do try and take it easy if you can. Sending a gentle hug.

Re: Good Morning Tuesday

Ouch Bob! Sorry to read about your fall, it must have shaken you up a bit . It could have been worse as you could have broken a bone easily in your arm or leg.

Be prepared for stiffness in you legs tomorrow, be sensible and rest if they are painful. x

Re: Good Morning Tuesday

Salve your bruises with Arnica, Foxy. It will sooth the pain and clear them up quickly for you. Witch Hazel for the cuts, and I'll be over later to kiss them all better!
