So glad it wasn't a stroke Ann. Were they able to relieve the pain in your hand? I'm sure you'll like the iPad!

Re: Hosptal

Pixie that must have been quite a scare for you .
I think you are wise to take any possible medical threat seriously.
I am please to hear there is no cause for concern and I hope your hand is better soon . A heat pad/hot water bottle may help with the pain.

A trapped nerve isn't good but glad to read that it wasn't a stroke. How does an eye pad help with a trapped nerve in the hand though?

Blimey Pixie!! A stroke is the last thing you want after the year you've had. I'm glad it wasnt though
A trapped nerve can be very painful as well. You didnt have to go to those lengths to buy yourself an IPad though Hope you feel better soon

Re: Hosptal

Missus Pixie phoned me earlier on for a little chat and she told me how scary she felt. Having had a mini stroke meself I could well understand the need to get it checked out and she's fine now, and looking forward to using her "eye-pad" which, in our time zone, she'll be just about having a play with it.
