Well hello as well from a skinny in a podgy body
It is hard to keep the weight off, its so hard because we love our fat and sugar and we want to eat it because it tastes sooooooo good
I mean who really loves boiled cabbage when it tastes so much better fried in the pan with bacon
And yes I do boil my cabbage with thyme to make it taste a wee bit better ( still prefer it fried)
And a chip? Oh come on, oven chips are cardboard compared to a real home cut chip cooked in the deep fryer with preferably lard
I like those things, but I know I have to limit them and whilst I do make real chips its a once a fortnight treat
I did give up crips and biscuits this year and lost half a stone. I can get by without them. I also cut the bread right back but I don't beat myself up when I make a chip butty, because it really is a treat
I think we can all respect our health and still indulge now and then. Food is one of life affordable treats, we just have to remember to keep the treats as treats and not every day fodder
