Holidays almost over and a lot happening
Just going through list of things grace needs to go back to school, must mean holidays are almost over
Quite enjoyed her company this summer, less entertaining needed doing and she's chatting and becoming quite an interesting young lady.
Still had a few plays with her sindy dolls
Anyway I'm impressed with some of the supermarket options, sainsburys has nice school shoes for under £5 and I like tescos school blouses £3 morrisons had a nice pencil case 50p I do love a bargain
So biggest bill will be for her cloak they wear a knee length button down cloak this year, so we've put her coat that is a bit too short into school box, hopefully that'll go to someone needs it because apart from growing out of it it's in good nick.
No hat this term as the cloak has a hood. Can't say I'm sorry she lost the hat I think four times in all last year. I threatened to staple it to her head at one point !
So only one place sells the cloak, we are taking a trip over to other side of Guildford to get it, had to pre order it before the holiday do it should be ready, I'm taking Stevens credit card £120 for a cloak seems a bit steep but it will keep her warm and is shower proof so won't need any other outer wear unless we get really bad weather. And something I'm keen on its possible to buy a bigger size for her to grow into so it should last quite a while.
She's agitating for a new bag apparently they all carry a certain bag in her class and she doesn't have one so I'm going to have a look and see how much that is while I've got Stevens card in my hot sweaty hand
if it's not too much she might be lucky.
She's going back with a note asking for a day off in September I'm hoping they grant it as at last we are going in front of the panel to sign documents making her ours. So amazingly the adoption is being finalised and then her father is out of her life for good. The judge met him a few weeks ago and said he was unfit to have contact even, a very wise judge this one.
Her paternal grandparents have fought hard but they are now just asking for contact which was fine all along. If they hadn't backed their son they could have had her over night long ago.
Nathan is driving us I thought I'd get the OK to drive but not yet which has crimped my style slightly.
On way back today she's got an appointment at the hospital where we see what medication dose she needs next, they've been weaning her down but I think she will still need blood thinner for life from what GP said last week. Will have to see what specialist says.
So busy busy today.
