I wait until I run out of time, and then I stop. Far too busy (and impatient) to wait.

The problem seems to be, you have to be alive to reach a conclusion, and, conclusions may not be conducive with time.

Depends on the situation. I hate bad time keepers and tell them so in no uncertain terms if necessary. But if someone is held up for some reason then a text sorts it out at my end. No contact then the more I fume.

I am terrible at waiting and seem to have spent a lot of my life 'waiting' for something or someone...

I've become really good at waiting over the past 18 months or so...but..
I'm def' not waiting for God

I don't like waiting in queues and hate it if people try to push in, they get the death stare from me.

We are a nation of queuers. We wait in line patently for all sorts of reasons. Covid vaccinations, post office, at the butcher's, to get into a night club, [those were the days], even for bread etc during the war, we are used to waiting in line & woe betide any one who jumps the queue, they get shouted at & pushed to the back.
We queue in cars at traffic lights & on roundabouts & in heavy traffic. We are very used to waiting.
I was never any good at it in a cafe though, I kept dropping plates of food & I didn't last long.

They get a bloody sight more than that from me and even worse from the Memsaab.
