Re: Cold Hard Facts Regarding Brexit.

Walking away without a deal is certainly not impossible.

That, of course, depends on which PM we have.

Is she out yet?

Hi

No, it is not impossible, it would however adversely affect business until such time as new Trade Agreements are finalised, which takes years.

We need tax income to pay for our life style.

As many on here have said before, independence from foreign control is more important than money.

The same thing happened 70 years ago, and we recovered.

I suppose it really depends on whether you are happy to become the 28th state of the Empire. Personally, I think I'd prefer to be the 51st state of the USA. At least then we'd have a say in things.

It was clear yesterday that a no deal is not supported by the majority of the house of commons. The choice is between this deal and remain.

Of course money is important. It is incredibly ignorant to assume otherwise.

Exactly and when these claims are made I do wonder how many businesses actually deal with EU or wider world because I seem to recall is high teens not as many as we are told will be affected.

They were quoting the percentage of eu imports and exports on lbc this am. It is a substantial proportion both ways.

After wwii we had the marshall plan and the empire. It's not comparable with an infinite deficit.

Hi

We still need money, I do not want any more austerity.

This means Tax rises.

Well that's ok by me. I was talking to the tech guy at work last night he was saying latest tax cuts meant he was better off but he was feeling incredibly guilty because he didn't really need it. What sort of tax system is that ? giving to those already well off !
I don't personally earn enough to pay tax but I'd happily contribute if it helped. Many of us would.
