Ere you lot of Norfolkians (is that a word ?
) I've just had a very pleasant meeting with a very lovely lady from Norfolk!Although I have lived in Notts. all my life, I've been coming to Wells-next-the-Sea for over 40 years so can I consider myself an honorary Norfolkian ?
This lovely, cheerful lady and I arranged to meet at Kay's quayside café this morning, and we had a couple of coffees/teas while we had a good old chinwag. Thank you so much Andrea for taking time to meet me, today. I must say I really enjoyed it, and we must do it again the next time I visit Wells !!
It is such a nice idea to have meets from time to time, it sort of cements a friendship doesn't it ? It's also nice to put a face to the written word innit. In my case it's loads of wrinkles surrounded by white hair in a pony tail !!
It's quite likely that most folk would be like Andrea and be old enough to by my children ! The amount of wrinkles that I have on me face is caused by our past experiences of running a charter/trip boat business for many years and being out in all weathers ! I also smoked back then ! Well that's my excuse anyway !

Gilly I think you can definately be an honorary "Norfolkian" lol ...youve earned it after 40plus yrs of visiting us here
Had a lovely time meeting you and was really good to have a natter by the seaside...my fishcake and chips tasted so much better lol
Will be great to meet up again next time youre down this way...I promise to bring some sunshine next time lol...
