I’m sure I read it somewhere on a thread...you also said you have friends ( scientists) I know you said that?

You were talking about them, when you were voicing your opinion about me not having the covid injection.

My GP was set to retire a few years ago but has hung on. So many others didn't. Many dentists left the NHS contract years ago. But it's dental nurses, practice nurses, reception staff, district nurses, phlebotomists, etc that are short. Doctors seem to be coming here from China or Hong Kong.
And your point is?

That you should stop complaining or ship out. We have just had a pandemic for goodness sake.

Well I never, it must have been your science friends that confused me.

You sound like my son.

Re: When will GPs, dentists, Councils get back to normal?

To be fair, my dentist is back to working as normal.
On 19th and 29th of April I went to her for a crown and a filling, and I'm an NHS patient not private.

On the other hand, as far as I'm aware our GPs are seeing people routinely by telephone consultation.

My dentist's work involved quite a bit of drilling with the inevitable shower of bits of tooth and saliva all over the place.

Seeing the doctor would involve nothing more than a face-to-face consultation, with the possible inclusion of drawing some blood.

There seems no reason for doctors' reticence to do their job when dentists (or at least my dentist) was willing to do something far more invasive and with the likelihood of spreading any infection.

You seem to have a penchant for Switzerland. Why aren't you there living the dream?
