We also have a BEKO frost free 'fridge/freezer and I love it, but it took me a while to get used to the strange noises it makes.

Thanks for that - Beko seems a popular make, hope the noise isn't too loud..

Re: Has anyone got ....?

Pat darlin' - when I had my bathroom altered (bath taken out and shower cabinet installed, new power shower, bathroom re-tiled and walls painted - the whole thing was over £7000.00 but I qualified for a 100% mandatory disability grant from the Council for the cost of that.

I would be wary of Beko electrical equipment Pat darlin' - there have been a number of well-documented serious accidents involving Beko fridges, freezers and washing machines - they overheat and catch fire too easily - one incident in a block of flats destroyed a good portion of the entire block.

Re: Has anyone got ....?

Before we bought the freezer/fridge we have now we bought a Kelvinator with a huge pull out freezer draw at the bottom, we sent it back because at night all thru' the house we'd hear this whooshing sound, it was maddening, so we replaced it with the side by side, we also have a chest freezer in the backyard ( house too small) which we use for bulk buy meat and meals that I've precooked, wouldn't be without it now

Glad to see you're sorted now... for me just a small stand alone freezer, I'm happy now to go for frost-free....

Our 6ft Beko freezer and 6ft Beko fridge are silent, never had any problems.

Re: Has anyone got ....?

Has anyone got - a high rise loo (taller than the norm) Due to a degenerative back condition, I am considering changing to one of this type.
Pats I had occasion to use a loo in a B&Q store yesterday and here was only one loo available for everyone so it had to cater for all comers.
It was one of the new tall loos and was fine as long as you have long legs . I am 5'4'' with short legs and risked being marooned unable to reach the floor with my feet.

Other than that it was very good
