No she wasnt one i'd bred or reared from a chick. She came to me a couple of years ago when her human dad died of a sudden heart attack, she was about 10 when I got her. The family lived near me and didnt know how to care for her and a peregrine falcon so gifted them both to me. She was my main hunting hawk and very good at her job. She will still be missed greatly x

I've just seen this Cassie and I know how fond were of Gem, I'm very sorry to hear this bad news, take care of yourself.
