In all the years I've been backing horses I only had the winner of the Grand National once, Papillon in the year 2000. If you want to take a tip from me Alan after that you're as mad as I am, but just for the record I'll be on 'Across the Bay', I hope he gets around safely, and all the rest of them too.

Hi Jem, I've backed the winner on quite a few occasions. My best result was when I backed three horses and had a triple on them. They came first, second and...................fourth. Had it come third I would have won £1200! PS I only have £2 EW on my selections.
