After a month of neglect...

...where to start?

During the past month the growing conditions have obviously been optimal, so having been away I now face the job of trying to rescue my garden. Thankfully a dear friend did some very effective weed spraying for me, as I find it hard to do it when the dog is here. So I have lots of tidying up of dead stuff to do, lots of digging over to do, and an acre of "lawn" ( mostly weeds rather than grass) which is long enough for Bennie to disappear in. And since I have been back it has rained a fair bit, so everything is wet.

I think my summer will be an arduous one...

I agree, Alan, and that's what I normally aim for. But things are a bit out of kilter just now, so might have to make it LOTS and often for a while!

I love weeds good for bugs, thats my excuse and im sticking to it.

Me too, love the Garden though...mine is so big!
