I synmpathise! Our little fall of snow is still here and has turned to ice.... had a little fall this afternoon when we wandered down the village shop - there's some very nasty conditions out there

Sounds like you're getting it bad.

I have my thermal undies on .. but I've not had a single snowflake where I am though it did drop to -6C last night.

I'd be lost without my internet connection, LMB! I've been calling friends seeing how they're coping, and they're called me. so have been off line a bit (dial up). It's still snowing like mad, the subway is only running the underground trains and all the buses were called back at 1:30 pm as the roads are too hazardous.

We normally never get storms like this: usually every 10 - 15 years a real bad one like this comes along. It's still snowing ......

Thant's quite a snow fall and doesn't look like it's going away quickly either.
