Enjoy.
The Christian church has long adopted eggs as a symbol of resurrection. Like the sacrificial lamb. But Easter hares are nothing to do with religion. I'm not sure where the idea that the bunny lays chocolate eggs comes from. Probably some German custom or fairytale. Like St Nicholas day is nothing to do with Christmas but in Europe children get sweets.

Hi

A few words of advice BritGuyUSA.

There are some ladies on here you will lose to, they have a healthy disregard for the male of the species.

In no particular order,Artangel, Shroppie, Rhian, Morti, Ruthio, Mups, Twink and Silver Tabby.

Relax, chill out and accept that you are beaten.

Crossing swords with them is fun, as long as you accept the inevitable outcome, which is you will come out second best.

Not heard that one before!!

In Pagan times eggs and hares were both seen as symbols of fertility. The Christian church adopted and adapted the egg theory to try and convert the Pagans.

Aha - just googled for egg laying bunnies and - guess what - they came from america via folk tales from German immigrants.

No. Easter is a pagan festival commandeered by the Christian religion.

A little late but better late than never, perhaps?
