Isn't farage such an angler? Hope he is better in abiding fishing bans than travel bans.

He doesn't fish illegally like most British anglers.

I fish recreationally.

I take only what I can eat or give away to those who need it.

I do not take undersized or protected fish

My sea fishing has been stopped due to the Lockdown.

I will be back again next week.

Remember the bass take rules, Swimmy - only2 sizeable bass. Even if you catch a 3rd that is sizeable, you have to throw it back dead.

If it's fishing with a line, the chances are the fish won't be dead. It'll just have a bit of a toothache.

I have often wondered, though, whether encouraging a fish to bite on a sharp hook is harmful and causes pain. It's not something I would do.

I don't think one guy sat on the riverbank or chucking his tackle over the side of a boat is going to threaten the fishing industry any time soon.... Go for it Swim.....
