I know you are a non-caring person.

Wise move of the scots, to await the outcome of negotiations with the EU. Suppose the EU increases tariffs on imported fish for third countries like england, wouldn't it be sensible to make amends for that in the bill?

If you want your say in our fisheries you have until the 17th of September to provide your written evidence.

Nah, it's a internal british matter. Any international ramifications should be made by the brits themselves. The UNCLOS will remain the overarching legal system.
In international negotiations, like those currently taking place with the EU, is where amendments to national law should be made.

Excellent. I like the sentence that says the scrutiny can end earlier than 5pm on Sep 17th. That'll give the EU fishery people a good shake up.

Barnier is absolutely bricking it. Yesterdays speeches in the HoC would have been watched eagerly by Barnier and co and the message was very clear - they will not ever be up for negotiation again. He miscalculated this by a country mile and listened to the BBC and Sky news instead of talking to the British people.

Here are some speeches from last nights debate.

... and then ... oh dear -> click

Re: Fisheries Bill ...

Sounds as if the amendments proposed by "the other place" will get short shrift when the vote comes.

I think barnier really believes the UK is playing strategy games. That boris is not prepared to inflict the damage on his country of a no deal. Barnier is wrong. The no deal by accident is near for both boris frost and michel barnier.

They already have - 4 were taken on board but the main one that was in there that could have shafted it was the Lords Ammendment on maximum quotas, which would mean that excess uk quotas would be given to EU vessels.

Still the ones accepted mean supertrawlers can be banned under our UK policy on sustainability, environment and conservation.

Good good...
