Just Who is Moving the Posts on a Level Playing Field ?

Great article here today from Martin Davison via CAPX.

When you have terms such as "level playing field" that are easily interpreted, it's an easy mistake for the EU to assume the UK meant the ECJ, when in fact we really mean the WTO.

It's vagueness like this which is why we are clarifying the treaty and making sure its clear albeit at this late stage, exactly what we meant

The EU cherry picking and the Irish Border are just two examples of how the tables have turned, and now to add insult to injury, it's Boris Johnson that is deciding the deadline on the EU's negotiating agenda.

Am doubtful it is not who you think 'moving the goalposts' -
standard tactic for losing side.

Boris' approach of course is a political one. But when two of the most senior lawyers of the government (who argued the case for proroging parliament!) leave their employ because they don't want anything to do with this, it is time to reconsider.

The goalposts were never defined anyway.

Yes , but what if the field was not level in the first place Bread ??
HOW can it be levelled later ??
Must it remain tilted towards the originators of the "club" forever ??
I still find it hard to believe the stupidity of our previous leaders ??

Yeah, I know what you mean DM. Theresa May and Ollie Robins tried to stitch us up with the WA and the choice now is to either do what is right for the will of the people and the best for our country, or to let May and Robbins destroy our democracy for the second time.

Boris was excellent today in the HoC it looks like he has his MoJo back... and oh how we need it now. The EU has never been a trusted organisation, it's taken countries sovereignty, money, laws and controlled them over time using propaganda, stealth and deception. Changing the Irish Protocol is the right thing to do - we need to put right the things that are wrong. Which is why the remainer media are constantly banging on about Boris breaking the law and not what by doing it allows our country and Northern Ireland to do.

We have "broken the law" over changing a treaty before, but nobody even batted an eyelid because it was to do with finance and not our sovereignty. Nothing new here... at least, nothing to get all worked up about.

Theresa may ditched a proposal by the EU because it created a border in the irish sea. She said no british pm would ever sign it.
Which didn't stop boris finding it during his raids on the wastebins, dusting it of, and presenting it to brexiters as his newly negotiated deal. Even you cheered it on in december last year.

Because the backstop was removed, that's why. Like I've told you hundreds of times before, actually read things instead of making things up. It would really help you understand how all this works instead of using your imagination and fantasy.
