Thanks Pesta, looking out of the window at the snow scurrying around in the ice cold wind I'm not too upset about missing my Tuesday run. If it was warm and sunny it would be a different kettle of fish.....I don't want to miss too many runs though. I might get soft.....

Oh that sounds miserable OGF, hope it doesn't take too long to clear up again. I've never had gout in my foot, the more traditional site for this, but I had it in my shoulder once - well according to my GP that's what it was, and who am I to argue? It was excruciating, I couldn't move my left arm more than about 3 inches forward of the shoulder joint. How I drove home from work on the day it was at its worst, I'll never know - changing gear was a challenge!!

Thanks Pixie, Mags and Bathsheba...I had a similar experience to you Bathsheba, I had to drive yesterday to pick up my prescription and stock up on supplies from Tesco, and it was so painful pressing the clutch pedal down. I bet people thought that I was a learner, grinding the gears....
One of the few times I wish my car was an automatic....
