Re: The State Opening of Parliament.
I’m not surprised Corbyn was looking grim-faced - he’s a Republican attending a Royal Command - and has just lost an election big-time - he is now a ghost at the feast and must know nearly everyone can’t wait for him to disappear.Re: The State Opening of Parliament.
What a disaster!Re: The State Opening of Parliament.
Re: The State Opening of Parliament.
A face like a cracked piss pot!..hahahahahahahaha. LOve that one. Here a couple favourites are.."mate you look like a bastard on father's day"..or.. "He's walking around with a head like a beaten favourite" Both apt in Corbum's case. But seriously, regardless and despite what the citizens of her own country think of her, The Queen is still very popular here. But she is popular.. as a person..Not as a head of state. But as for all this palaver, the general attitude is, Yes there is a place for English pageantry, pomp and glory and all that goes with it. And that place is England. It looks more than ridiculous being carried out anywhere else. And always did in my opinion. But it's colourful and curious. Good TV for some.
