I'm pleased for her - always liked & admired her.

I don't like her head gear though. A fascinator on a headband - Urgh!!

Twiggy inspired me and so many other teenagers in the 1960’s. We loved and copied the clothes she wore, her hairstyle, her make-up. Her ‘Twiggies’ the false lashes we stuck on our bottom eyelids.

I like how she has never really changed. She is natural and not pretentious like some famous people, today. In fact, she giggles at the fact she has become a Dame.

So l say, Congratulations, Twiggy. You are just great!
And a big congratulations from another huge fan. I followed her fashion at every opportunity as a teenager. Whatever Twiggy wore, her hair, shoes, that was me too. (well, maybe the cheaper copycat fashion). but seriously, I loved her, her crazy from Neasdon, London accent, and her girl-next-door attitude. Go Twiggy. You deserve it.

May, It was designed by Stella McCartney. I think, Twiggy made a mistake wearing it, as she doesn’t look as good as normal.
