mart, So please explain to me, why was there the need to kill two beloved pets in this series?
It was all too far fetched and unrealistic.
The writer should learn.. less is more!

Because Rose wanted to hurt the family as much as they had hurt her.
That is presumably why their much loved pets were destroyed, to cause as much hurt as she could.

Yes, l know that, Mups.
I was referring to the writer and why it was necessary to include the killing of two pets.
One would have been suffice for fictional purposes.

I think it is as Mups says.

It was all play acting though and as such, I think the plot and the behaviour of the characters can be different to anything that might happen in real life.

Too many unanswered questions..really needs a 2nd series..but I've read that's not happening..shame,I really enjoyed it and the acting was fab'.

I think Rose's character was coming across as robotic by the end
And why was she sentenced for only 2 years (and a bit)?!!!

Well I enjoyed it and no animals were hurt so they can kill as many as they need to make it an exciting thriller. I think Rose's lack of emotion was her breaking down inside. So I don't have a problem with her becoming a bit robotic as described. There were questions but I don't mind that I think it was possibly better than wrapping it all neatly up at the end.

Lenient British judges. It's quite commonplace these days.

Until we heard Rose read the letter to Leah out loud in which she said she had taken Leah's advice and was going back to the beginning .
Then switch to Ben waiting for Roses's father walking the dog?
