Thank you all.
Stress free it was not. The packers/movers spent all day on Thursday packing up our possessions so that they could drive up on Friday and unload.

We, all three of us, spent Thursday in a very elegant hotel in Doncaster and had dinner there with family.

Off to the new house yesterday to meet the removers/unpackers.

We now have a house full of boxes, labelled for sure, but "kitchen" doesn't tell you if it a food mixer or cutlery for example. Or cups or the saucepans.

The house? Tastefully decorated, four good sized bed rooms, kitchen is.........a dream.

I'll post some pics when we are a bit better organised.

Somebody named moving house as one of the four most stressful things that will happen in your life Besoeker.
The other three being:- Divorce, Death of someone close and redundancy....Sort out those anonymous boxes and give me a shout and lets meet up..... Of course, help is only a PM away if you should need it....

What's the yard (garden) and neighborhood like for your BC?

I can't wait for the pictures and reports of that lunch! Be sure to ask for a large enough table to seat the forum. .
