Was It Worth It? - What You Bought

What is something that caused you stress at the time of purchase because of the expense but was absolutely worth it?

For me it was a $500 vacuum (four dogs, twins - needn't say more) in 1997 and a $250 helicopter ride over an active volcano.

All the things I buy or have bought have been worth it, I am a hoarder.
I did pay far more than it's now worth for this though.

No key with mine & I paid far too much for it at the time, but I'd always wanted a slope & I liked that one.

My 2 thousand pound donation to a cancer charity was worth it, although my psychiatrist says don't make financial decisions when you're manic.

I was slightly manic but don't regret the donation.
