Some dead industries was lost; sure but new industry grew up very quickly to replace it. As usual you have missed to point. The Yemen war is promoted by the Iranians as is the Syrian I.S. faction. If the Yemen situation was left alone they would soon be fighting the Saudi's. Iran is all about dominating the whole of the middle east. Iraq will split in due course after which there will be a war with the Kurds. That's why we have to support the Saudi's.
