Surely, money is a necessity and we would go under without it? Then everyone would suffer, families included!

Interesting to know which countries provide free school meals and why.

In my opinion it's best if all children are treated equally.

A level playing field, in other words.

I like the paragraph entitled "Stigma"

Things that should be taught in the home:

Good manners
Self respect
A sense of responsibilty
Difference between right and wrong.
Money management.
How not to populate the world with illegitimate brats.

Things to be learned in school

Reinforcement of what is learned at home.
Respect for teachers and others in authority.
A good general education.
Team work.

I'd say respect for teachers starts at home, too many parents these days think they can tell teachers what to do and support kids over the teachers !

If I'd posted that opinion I'd be ashamed.
This is why I don't get involved on here so much now.
Don't worry. We recently imported a number of 'children' from Africa and the Middle East. They'll save our society.

Children need good examples to follow ,if they are brought up without working role models how will they learn to work ?

Perfectly true.

This is why we have good people and bad people, productive people and lazy slobs, honest people and criminals.

Sad, isn't it?
