Not interested in Cheeky Chat?
Please read no further as I am not looking for a heavy discussion in respect of this item.

All you need to step inside the 'cheeky chat' section of the forum is to enter hahaha.
This is situated second bottom on the home page.
In there all you will find if anybody is about, is cheeky chat between people who don't mind a little bit of bawdy chat. Perhaps similar to what used to be in the 'Carry On' films I suppose.

No porn.
No nudity.
Nothing is meant to offend.

And if anything went too far then I have no doubt management would shut down the Cheeky Chat section completely and for good.
Of course not everybody is interested in the slightest in 'bawdy' humour at all.
In that case there is no wish to have you enter Cheeky Chat as to offend anyone is the very last thing I would want.
With respect, if you are easily offended then I would not wish for you to be there anyway.
It would be very nice to to see you there in Cheeky Chat though.

It was initially opened to hold the offensive, many weren't happy with some things posted, me among them, I have a fairly bawdy sense of humour among family but forum didn't feel right place to see it.

I've never entered and can't see I ever will, I don't feel I'm missing out.

I think there is a place for. If someone does not like or approve of such a conversation then they do not have to enter. No one has the right to push their ideas, or values on others but all must learn tolerance!!
I am new here so I may be a bit before I enter. Being comfortable is important too. I have not been offended by anyone's post but maybe I should get to know people a bit more first... maybe

You want my honest opinion Boozy?

I've had a look in the cheeky chat room, and IMO is started off OK, but deteriorated in the Cheeky Friendly Banter thread.
I thought a couple of posts pushed the boundaries to be honest. e.g. the "I love F***ing Cocaine" post was one such.
That is not a saucy innuendo to me.

But each to their own, I'm just being honest with you.

Not been in there,so can't comment except to say if it's a lot more ribald than the 'jokes for blokes' thread,then Methinks it best to stay out....I never say hahaha anyway...I prefer heh heh heh

If boozer wants to have that sort of thread, and has warned us of it's possible contents, those who don't want to read it can ignore it. I feel it is better to keep it in one thread rather than letting it enter other threads.
Most people don't mind a gentle rude comment but I would prefer anything stronger to be in one place, so people who would be upset, don't have to see it.

Fair comment Julie, and I can perfectly understand your point of view.
I think some people have the impression that all I am interested in is filth and innuendo and bawdy and sex etc etc etc.
If anyone is mildly interested please go and peek at my profile.
There you can see all of the threads I have started and all of the posts I have made in this forum since joining here on 28-05-2014 I think you will find that the vast majority have nothing to do with sex or bawdy at all, and indeed from any direction only a small proportion of threads/posts here in the forum have anything at all to do with those subjects.
I do believe that there are many more threads to do with politics and that ilk in this forum were people are almost at others throats over Brexit or whatever than ever about sex.
A good forum to my mind is all about balance.
I do believe what I contribute here has balance.
