Re: Bercow missing

Listening to Baroness (can't remember her name presently) talking on the radio the other day she's a remainer, she said he's working to help the remainers stop us leaving. Not stop us leaving on WTO deal but stop us leaving altogether. She seemed very sure they can do it.

In the fantasy playground of remain, anything is possible Julie.

Donks, your legal system is based on a case-by-case interpretation of the rules/laws. Delivering what is known as jurisprudence.
Apply your donkilogic on that.

The whole point of rules and laws is that they can't be interpreted. Thats the whole point of having them, otherwise we would just make it up as we went along.

How old are you donks that you still do not know that life isn't simple.
In your way of thinking not only parliament is superfluous, but the whole judicial system can be abolished. Any dispute is settled by the sword.

It should, but it isn't. The trias politica makes it a little less complicated. Parliament legislates, magistrates INTERPRETATE these rules and laws on a case to case basis, providing jurisprudence. To provide legal certainty and avoid legal inequality, jurisprudence has to be taken into account in future interpretation by magistrates.
The trias makes that politicians should not, and in most cases will not, commoent subjudice.

Once the ruling gov requests the uneducated, unwashed
masses to make a decision as to which direction they want
the country to travel, and that unwashed population then
gives that decision, then, if we live in a democracy then
it is incumbent on that gov to deliver the wishes of the
citizens to the best of its ability!
That is democracy, Solly!
