Re: The People Versus Parliament.

Oh, I just wondered if you currently reside in the south of France. Me, I currently live in Scotland but I've also lived in Wales, London, and briefly in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

No. No point. All that has been available up to this year is a EU national carte de sejours (residency permit) or simply stay here as an EU citizen. Neither are valid options when the UK leaves the EU. All British immigrants living here will have to obtain a third country carte de sejours and, if desired and you qualify, later seek French nationality.

Re: The People Versus Parliament.

Extremely excellent OP by SG

Once BrExit is done as I have said many times, we must round up all the corrupt politicians who were responsible for drafting and signing EU treaties behind closed doors, always against the British Constitution and bring them to justice.

We should then go through parliament and root and twig, pluck out every MP that has actively sought to obstruct BrExit. They must be ejected from parliament and politics as a whole.

We then need to change laws and legislate. We need to properly encode the British Constitution and ensure that laws are laid down to protect it. Inherent in that must be the firm statement that the sovereignty of this country and its justice system must never be given up to any foreign power or prelate and it shall be the duty of any monarch to refuse Royal Assent to any such proposal.

It should also be enshrined in law that the British Constitution can never be superceded or altered without a national referendum.

The plan of the elites and EU pratts is currently to let the UK go with the aim of bringing it back into the fold in about 5 years time.

We must ensure they can never do that. We must ensure that the necessary laws are put in place to ensure it can not happen.

Britain is a sovereign country. It should always be so, regardless of what relationships we strike with other countries.

We also need to bring in new legislation to protect democracy in this country. There needs to be defined a specific crime pertaining to the wilful opposition of the democratic system and its processes.

It's fine for people to campaign for their viewpoints.

It must be made illegal to actually under take actions that seek to obstruct democractic outcomes.

and so on

Much to do

If they do, Spain would be in a complete crisis.

Hmm. That demonstrates little knowledge of the situation. The problems will come from lack of clarity on the process, hurdle rate (eg demonstrate what level of income), costs and exact nature of documentation. Not clear as it may vary on deal or no deal exit, transition period or not and exactly how the UK decides to treat EU nationals in the UK.
Then there is the issue of the carte vitale (card to obtain free medical care) and the way the exchange rate impacts sterling salaries, savings or pensions. Pensioners are heading back because the S1 may be taken away and/or because their pensions have effectively been reduced by 30%. If the pound falls further with a no deal exit expect more to give up life in Spain or France.
So plenty of problems and worries.
