Where have all the thrushes gone as we are inundated with snails in my garden.

We must be lucky then,quite often see song thrushes.

We have plenty of Mistle Thrushes but Song Thrushes are scarce.

Rare bird nowadays...very common when I was a kid.I remember many nests in hedgerows when I was birdnesting.Always remember the difference with blackbirds...Song Thrush nests were lined with mud...blackbirds weren't.Same differences with song,the thrush song was repetetive...the blackbird song was a medley of notes.
