Re: Age and Decisions

Getting to that age, I now know that there isn't too much that would faze me, it's a good feeling.

I think I learnt fairly early on in my life that everything was not going to slot conveniently into place as I wanted it to do. I was waiting for this and it never happened. I think if we can do so we have to make things happen, preferably to our personal advantage and the decisions we make help us to do that (up to a certain point). Frequently, however, no matter how hard we try things will not work out as we want them to and then we have to try to adjust and make the best of it (whatever that it is).

That's what I thought Keezoy. I don't understand the meaning otherwise.

Well I have no decisions of any importance to make Spitty, and when I try to make one I am quickly slotted into place , I’m happy with that because when something goes wrong, and it usually does, they can’t blame me.
My opinions are sometimes asked for by the wife and daughter, but that’s just a formality to secure the finance, the choices have been already made, they think they are pulling the wool over my eyes, but as you say, what the heck, keeps them happy and I get a quiet life.
