There is no-one more anti Olympics than me, but I think Londoners will have enough misery thrust upon them even if the games run smoothly, the last thing they need is more pain through the selfish actions of a few blackmailers out to make a quick buck at their expense.The biggest irony, however, is that after all that misery most of the poor locals can't even get a ticket....

What really annoys me about the Olympics is that all the development, monies, etc. etc. has yet again gone into the South of the country. As taxpayers, the whole country will be paying for the Olympics and there has been little effort to share out the experience or any gain made from hosting the Olympics. Lets get it over with, I say - I have been secretly hoping Seb. Coe would fall flat on his face
. Londoners will be benefitting from the building works and infrastructure necessary to host the games, so they should be happy to bear any inconvenience. The Olympics could have benefitted far more areas if the events had been shared out a bit across the country.
