I never wanted children and luckily when I married my husband felt just the same. If we'd disagreed that might have been a problem but once he had a vasectomy, problem solved.

I can clearly remember the day my eldest son told us that we were to become grandparents. It was such an exciting time in our lives. That little baby girl is now 32 years old and has a son of her own. That was the day the floodgates opened on the grandchildren front. We have been skint since then but I wouldn't change a thing. They have brought us so much joy..and heartache..over the years.
