At first I was assuming half the world had the same or similar and the internet would be awash with answers.

Now I'm beginning to think I bought a dud.

However I will demand answers from the vendors pcworld should all else fail.

Have you contacted Lenovo customer support?

If not, then go to

https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/contact/

and wait for the "Chat" button to appear (bottom right) - click it and wait for a responder

Briefly explain your problem and, even if the responder can't help you, you should receive some helpful advice .....

SUCCESS!

back to square one, I googled install windows drivers

right up the top of the list> windowscentral

that led me to> Intel Driver & Support Assistant

which I downloaded, scanned my pc, three update available

downloaded those.

downloaded Windows latest version.
