Remember, remember the 5th of November.

Here's a good idea for a bonfire celebrating the near destruction of Parliament in 1605.

Donnington fireworks event organisers create bonfire representing the HoC.

Naturally there are some whinging bastards complaining about it.

I think if it looked a bit more like the Houses of Parliament and less like a normal house it might be better, just saying...

Hi

A huge and brilliant event year after year Judd.

Involved in it for years when I was based in Telford at the end of my Career.

It is spectacular and the boys and girls from MOD Donnington put in an awful lot of work, and some surprises every year.

It is next to a Military Police Base, they supply the security as their families attend.

It is as cheap as chips to go, heavily subsidised by local businesses and raise loads for local charities

A family of four, two adults, two littlies go for £6 including car parking, £4 if you walk.

That includes the bonfire and two firework displays and the local foodbanks provide food for a picnic for those in need.

We all give our time for free and it is a great feel good factor.

It's a representation, not an exact copy.
