Looking like a Prat

Hi

A very quick visit to Clinic this morning, first in.

Luckily it is only a few hundred yards away.

I am now back home, courtesy of the Volunteer transport.

No driving for 3 days and sat inside with dark glasses on and swimming trunks.

I will not be answering the door to anyone.

I know why, Swimmy has a new tanning machine and is trying for a bronzed body beautiful!

Only joking, Swimmy. I hope your old ailment hasn’t returned.

Ah, in that case I'll take a guess he has skin problems and needs light treatment at home. Yeah I can relate to that as I too have suffered with psoriasis and the UV light definitely helped.

Hi

My old injuries and my recent hospital acquired infections have come back to haunt me.

I have lost a third of my heart muscle 17 years ago, before that serious injury to one of my legs 30 years ago and blast damage to my stomach, head and one eye.

I have shrapnel in my skull, a damaged ear and limited movement in one hand due to someone sticking a knife through it.

Those who have met me know I disguise it well.

My choice, I would do it again.

A life worth living, never boring.

As regards those who complain about Government Pensions, they can sod off.

I have earned mine.

I was told I would never walk or work again, I did both.

I am content that I have earned my money.

Swim, with all your injuries, I am a bit surprised you are allowed to drive at all, let alone take another 'Advanced Speed Test?'

May I ask why you even need to do this test in retirement?
