Hi

I am early retired, still have to go in until Midnight 16th December.

Never underestimate the stupidity of Government.

They ran a Test, I was called in to something I left over 10 years ago.

I cannot drive at the moment, medical procedures which will pass.

I will have my Advanced Driving Test next Monday.

That will be the last one I ever have.

I have no wish, intention or desire to drive at high speed after that.

I am happy pootling about, fishing gear and littlies and dog in the back.

I cannot wait for full retirement, a long time coming. but worth it,

They can make you have a driving test 10 years later?

I'd soon tell my ex-boss where to go!

Re: Looking like a Prat

Swim, your posts are often confusing as you tell us about your injuries, but never how, where or when you got them.

I appreciate that you may have had to keep quiet about them but, as you will be free to tell us after 16th December, I am sure I will not be the only member who would like to hear more about how they happened.
Hell, with all of those injuries you make the job of "Enforcer" sound more dangerous than being 007.

I will not be answering the door to anyone.
Swimmy it doesn't matter what you look like getting better and being comfortable is the important thing.

Swim, what would happen if you didn't pass the driving test?
They can hardly sack you!

Hi

007 is Definitely not me.

My life was never glamorous in any way shape or form.

I was basically a highly payed Cjeaner.

A Nuclear Chemical and Bacterial specialist, cleaning up is what we do.

After the end of the Cold War, it switched to Islamic Terrorism.

It is incredibly boring for 95% of the time.

Taking in all that you have posted here, Swimmy, I'd say you are due for some leisure time with your pups and your fish.

Hopefully that time will come soon, and you'll be feeling more like doing these things. Hugs to you, my friend.

Thanks for the reply. So were your injuries received in your chemical work or did you get them from your work with terrorists?
I know it is almost 30 years since the cold war ended & the police or army normally look after terrorists, so I am hoping you will be able to tell us more about it after 16th December. I always think that true stories are more interesting when you have more details & as I have great interest in unusual injuries, how they occurred and any problems they caused, you have captured my attention!
You may not see it as a spy thriller, but I would be fascinated to hear more!
