I've just been reading this thread. I had to laff at some of the comments and banter.Re: Why do you think Trolls Troll?
Re: Why do you think Trolls Troll?
There's a fine line between a WUM and a Troll and a subtle difference. In my opinion, a WUM likes to cause a bit of disruption but will take as good as they give, a bit of banter really; whereas a Troll loves to get everyone else involved in serious argument and doesn't care if members get upset and leave the site. I suppose Trolls are nastier than WUMs.Re: Why do you think Trolls Troll?
I was told once one of our resident trolls couldn't leave his computer in case I posted, after a visit to the loo would stumble down the stairs shouting I'm not letting her get away with that. It's an illness IMO a terrible all consuming illness to be a wum.Re: Why do you think Trolls Troll?
Re: Why do you think Trolls Troll?
It's easy to find a WUM, when ten folks sit down, and nine of them habitually agree with each other for fear of ridicule or whatever, and one of them dares to question, you have found the WUM. Strange though coz folks seem to feel a level of sadness, when the WUM goes home.
