To be fair there's a lot of that for both sides, people envious of benefit recipients really gets my goat.

Maybe you and your mate could make a start by not referring to other people in Anglo Saxon terms.
I really think you should study Anglo Saxon, I have seen none on here.

Re: Someone else with similar view to Laura Pidduck MP

What one would only expect from the laughable Guardian!

As for Laura Pidcock, What a pathetic, childish thing to say! Being newly-elected of course, she is probably feeling smug and comfortable with her new position. No doubt she is still also seeking the cheers from her constituency Labour supporters she received upon being elected, and giving them what she assumes they want to hear. I guarantee though, before long she will be just another brown-nose seeking another rung up the ladder and biting her words!!

Are you telling me this woman will refuse to work on any committee's because they are a mix of Tory, LibDem and Labour? of course she won't if she wishes to advance her career, which will then show her up for what she is by saying such a thing. A hypocrite!

She should be very careful what she says. It will without fail come back to bite her on the backside.

I'm not sure that's actually what she said though, it seemed to me she can't be friends with them not she can't sit on committees. I have to admit I've worked at times with people I'd never be friends with but put on a professional face to get a job done.

Re: Someone else with similar view to Laura Pidduck MP

I agree Julie, I worked for a hospital consultant for eight years, just he and I in the office. Everyone used to sing his praises and say what a "Lovely man" he was, but I couldn't stand him. I thought he was a total sleaze, but never ever let on to anyone, least of all him, how much I despised him. I went to his second wedding and when the vicar came to the bit about "anyone with a just cause..." it was more than I could do to keep quiet, knowing exactly why the wedding was doomed to failure. Talk about biting my tongue!

The MP will just have to front it out on committees, but there is absolutely no reason why she should do more than that.

Re: Someone else with similar view to Laura Pidduck MP

The reason I think her words are so pathetic and childish. Coming out publicly with such a ridiculous statement proves just how immature she is and not fit for office.

What is she going to do during lunch break with other Tory committee members? completely blank them when spoken to? If she converses with them then she is socialising with them. Stupid woman! if this is the calibre of Labour MP, then it says it all. She is following a party policy of jealousy and envy, wants to be noticed by Corbyn and is obviously looking for headlines. I suggest she try the proven one of mocking white van man and the English flag. It worked for ..now what the hell was her name?....

Oh yes....Stupid woman!

Perhaps I should not have tried to be polite. Maybe I should have said abusive, then that would have included terms like scumbag and Barsteward etc. In case you may need reminding, what about when you called me a Twat?
The term Anglo Saxon by the way was meant as an allusion is case you're wondering
