Re: The Inevitable Corbyn EU U-Turn

'It's disgraceful!' Labour voter RAGES at Corbyn & Abbott over single market 'U-turn'

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/847...l-farage-video

"The LBC caller, known only as Darragh, blasted Jeremy Corbyn, Diane Abbott and others in a scathing outburst during a phone-in on the Nigel Farage show.

He branded the EU project a “capitalist farce” before ripping into the Labour leader after shadow Brexit secretary Sir Keir Starmer revealed the party would stay in both the single market and customs union during a post-Brexit transition phase.

The caller said: “The whole thing [the European Union] is completely set up to promote big business and it is essentially a capitalist farce and loads of people on the left are completely against it."

And I agree with him, but we aren't the entire left. Corbyn has a job on his hands it's like herding cats in the Labour Party we all have our opinions and all like to be heard.

I suppose if he keeps turning back and forth he's bound to upset some of his supporters!

Face one way and you have the support of half of your voters; face the other way and the other half like you.

The problem for the Loony Party is that there are actually TWO Loony Parties!

But that's no way to organise a party Julie. The party needs a core set of beliefs and standards so people know what it stands for.

Corbyn is a socialist Marxist. The EU is about as anti-socialist as you can get yet he is now supporting it (to get votes).

So what does the Looney Party actually stand for now?

It's a mess.

A colossal mess. They should have ousted Corbyn ages ago. He is splitting the party.

Re: The Inevitable Corbyn EU U-Turn

We need a Labour Party we need a viable opposition party, the Limp Dims don't know their arse from their elbow, why is it that when the Greens are mentioned I think of Tofu? Completely unpalatable..so imho we need a proper Labour Party in order to reign in the excesses of the ruling party. We do not need LoonyLabour, get rid of Corbyn and his acolytes along with Momentum and maybe people will actually vote for them in enough numbers to make a government for the people......(stop giggling at back!)

Yes. I know a number of people who would traditionally have voted Labour. These are the traditional working class people; people who work hard for a living but have no particular political ideals. All they want, really, is to be treated fairly.

The other side of the coin, of course, is the Loony Party. The one that appeals to, and is supported by, the snowflakes and trendy ultra-left wingers. Corbyn and Abbot's party.

I think your viable opposition party could be another Harold Wilson version of the Labour Party as it once was - minus the greedy trade unions, of course, which are now an anachronism.
