Hi

Not a lot can be done in reality by the USA.

It really is down to China.

We just need to keep well out of it.

I notice Uncle Joe hasn't contributed to this thread, I wonder if he is in favour of NK and its actions, as he seems to be in favour of extreme socialists?

Re: North Korea's 'reckless' missile launch over Japan sharply escalates tension

Ok I'm on no ones side I think the fat blokes in both countries are mad and bad, but people in the population are probably really nice.

But have I got this right one fat bloke is paranoid, clearly mentally ill and thinks people are going to attack him so to keep his population subdued he tells them another fat bloke is threatening them all, then the other fat bloke starts threatening him and them with annialation.

Then fat bloke starts chucking nuclear missiles around so other fat bloke says his people are in danger and ups his threats too.

Have I got it so far ?

If so what can anyone do to calm the situation down and passing both fat blokes ?

Hi

There is nothing the UK can do, so best keep out of it.

Hardly seems fair when nuclear options are being used as that could affect us all.

And people thought Jeremy Corbyn mad when he advocated nuclear disarmament.

I know that one always puzzles me what harm can being peaceful to each other do ?

Personally I'd put the two fat blokes in a padded room and tell them to fight it out between them. My betting is they'd come to a peaceful agreement.

But we won't though. May, Hammond, Boris et al will be following Trump like a pack of miniature Jack Russels, wagging their tails and tongues behind him.

China have seriously got to intervene with some strong words.

Hi

There is nothing Militarily we can do apart from Nuke them.

That would not be a good idea and is totally unnecessary, the USA has enough weaponry on it's own.

The Russians have already evacuated all their civilians from their border with North Korea.

If any fall out hits China they will retaliate and we do not want to be a target.

Re: North Korea's 'reckless' missile launch over Japan sharply escalates tension

The whole thing is a side show.

The USA have for quite some years gotten ready for a war with China. They have military bases all around China, an incredible number in fact and all along the Pacific. China know well the situation.

There was a good TV documentary on it in the last couple of months.

We should all hope that the war does not happen but it kind of seems inevitable. North Korea are imo immaterial. The USA could flatten the entire country with one huge bomb if they so desired, the size and magnitude of their nukes is staggering now.

However it is FAR more likely imo that you will see North Korea suffer an earthquake and possibly a Tsunami. Something they can't blame the USA on but which nevertheless the USA will have instigated.
