Re: BBC Raises Licence Fee - Again!¬

I don't have a problem with the licence fee as long as it keeps the ads away.

That's good in theory but every day they advertise someone's latest single or new book or film. The only reason 'celebs' appear on programmes such as The one show and Graham Norton, is to advertise their latest venture.

Like a reason not to pay your TV licence.

But the BBC is to all intents state controlled as it is.

Not at this time government controlled since we now have a decent government and its the awful Civil Service pulling the strings, but certainly when a Socialist government is in office.

I dread to think how much worse it would have become if a Momentum/Labour government had been, or ever was elected into office.

Full privatisation is the best of all worlds.

I wonder if BBC radio gets a fee for playing all of the new Hit Tunes a hundred times a day?

After all, repeated playing leads to a "hit" - we should get a share?

Don't worry, that's never going to happen.
